Music and wine – a marriage of ancient origins – can provide great emotions but require the right time and the right atmosphere to be fully appreciated. Monferrato, a land of good taste and slow-living is therefore the ideal frame to run Bacco&Bach. An International Festival where classical music - particularly the so-called "authentic" chamber music as performed by passionate musicians, careful to reproduce the musical taste of the period in which it was written, using instruments typical of the time - is combined with wine tasting in search of one of the "princely products" of this region.

As a guarantee of the artistic quality of this proposal and its international breadth, the Festival, under the name of Daniel Fradkin, boasts an artistic committee of excellence: Albert Markov, Yuri Martynov, Alexandra Koreneva, Bill Lipman, Dan Segre, to name only some of the members.
There are ten musical events. From July 14 to 22 every day an evening concert can be enjoyed with direct combining of the musical program to one or more wine tastings, to discover a different wine each time as a symbol of the excellence of this region. It’s really the case to say: "to every glass its music."

This innovative formula of listening and tasting creates not separate but contextual moments. Before every concert there will be an explanatory presentation of the listening and the tasting to follow. Bacco&Bach is , in fact, not only aimed at a public of experts, enthusiasts and connoisseurs in this field but plans to reach and also involve amateurs, beginners and all those who welcome the occasion to have a break to taste and relax while discovering Monferrato.. The musical program will in fact lead through a territorial trail: the sites of the concerts will be some of the most typical and authentic corners of Monferrato - courtyards of ancient buildings, small theaters, villas and castles - also special places in which the wonders of the territory were born, such as wine cellars, distilleries, caves. Enclosed areas, almost "living rooms" that seem naturally suited to the idea of offering a sensorial experience at 360° with enchanting landscapes, artistic qualit and good wine.
