Pelaverga is beginning to establish itself as a popular wine among consumers for its fresh and enjoyable bouquet, so as to obtain the designation of origin (d.o.c.).
Although this region is particularly famous for the excellence of its red wines, in Roero two prestigious white wines are getting a great success for their young and delicate pleasure: Arneis, d.o.c. wine, and Favorita.
A regional law, in order to enhance the wines, has created public wine bars as a reference point for the tourist. They are located in castles and noble buildings with exhibition and tasting areas, offering an extensive overview of the producers in the territory's finest vine-growing regions, mainly producing D.O.C. and D.O.C.G wines.
